Wicker Porter's Chair

Regular price £895.00

Circa 1930's

A wicker chair known as a hall porter's chair.  It has a distinctive tall, dome-shaped back that curves around to form a partial enclosure. The chair was made from natural wicker, which over the years has bleached naturally.

This style of chair was traditionally used in entryways or hallways where servants or porters would sit, with the high back providing protection from drafts.
